 You know what. Fork wasnt even twisted so it couldnt have been that hard. I have no other dents anywhere and (big) rocks have hit the down tube. I should have had the fork bumpers on the weld instead of the tube.
I hit the big gap under the Aline drop at Whistler and there was a noob riding across the landing. Pretty hard crash but I think my head took the worst of it. Another D2 in the garbage.

 Dirt eroding from the landing would make it bigger today. Rock eroding?? would make it smaller today. But actually because of Whistlers trail maintenance it is pretty much exactly the way it was in 02. People just dont ride the line much anymore.

 When I did that... just before i went in, I looked up, hit the dirt with my face, flipped and skidded on my back, so I had raspberry from my lips over my shoulder to my ass. I got knocked out for six hours and woke up in the hospital. FULLFACE HELMET!! lucky im not too retarded from that one. ughh i drooled...
